Start with a useful question
Before reducing a price, check the item, its condition, postage, comparable sales and the information buyers can see. A listing’s age or traffic can tell you where to look; neither tells you the answer on its own.
A practical review, with a record
- Understand the book. Agree a dated inventory export and identify missing information.
- Review a small group. Record the evidence behind each recommendation, including a decision to leave a listing alone.
- Follow the outcome. Keep changes, non-sales, cancellations and refunds in the record.
